Joint Postdoctoral Program between Institute for International and Area Studies ,Tsinghua University and St Antony’s College, the University of Oxford
This program, jointly launched by the Institute for International and Area Studies, Tsinghua University, and St Antony’s Collge, the University of Oxford, selects young Chinese scholars for postdoctoral research. The Beijing Chenxing Education Foundation sponsors the selected young scholars with research funding and living allowance during their research at the University of Oxford.
Sponsored by the Foundation, young scholars undertake postdoctoral studies at St. Antony’s College of the University of Oxford.The University of Oxford is a world’s leading institution in area studies, with a long history and fruitful achievements. The Institute for International and Area Studies, Tsinghua University, as an emerging research hub for area studies in China, selects outstanding young scholars to conduct postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford, where they will participate in world-class research programs and be trained in research methods and academic thinking, thereby effectively facilitating their growth and career development.
The first two selected scholars have started their postdoctoral research at St Antony’s College at the University of Oxford in 2020.
